The Most-Delivered business jet of 2013

According to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and Embraer disclosure statements, the Phenom 300 has achieved the top position on the list of most delivered business jets in 2013, with 60 new aircraft having been received by customers around the world.

2013 marked the Phenom 300’s fourth full year of operation, when its deliveries grew by 25% over 2012, while the business aviation market had grown by only 2% during the same period.

The most delivered business jet position was also reached by the Phenom 100 in 2010, when 100 jets were delivered globally. In that same year, the Phenom 300 was not yet in the Top Ten ranking, but reached fifth place in 2011, and ranked second in 2012.

In 2013, the Phenom 300 was the only light jet among the top five delivered, and shares the Top Ten ranking with the Phenom 100. Introduced in 2005, the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 have enjoyed worldwide successful acceptance in over 50 countries, with over 470 Phenom in operation.

The Phenom 100 was first delivered in December 2008, with more than 290 now in service.

The Phenom 300’s first delivery was at the end of 2009, with over 170 now in operation.
Phenom 300 – Top-in-class business jet cabins
Embraer entered the business aviation market in 2000 with the introduction of the Legacy 600 business jet. The Legacy’s success paved the way for Embraer to build a solid name in the business aviation market.

The accrued knowledge and experience, through extensive customer interactions and research, shaped the Company’s decision to fully commit to business aviation in 2005, launching Embraer Executive Jets with the introduction of the two clean-sheet design Phenom jets.

The Phenom jets were also Embraer’s first fully digital product development aircraft, leveraging Embraer’s Commercial Aviation E-Jets development. Embraer Executive Jets’ strategy to introduce these revolutionary jets was to leverage its core competencies in aircraft design, certification, assembly, supply chain management, and its global customer support organization with an innovative partnership to enhance customer experience.

Partnering with BMW Designworks USA, the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 fuselage with oval cross-sections became the foundation for the Phenom jets’ interior design, and was dubbed the Oval Lite cabin, one of the top-in-class.
Phenom 300 Executive Jet Cockpit
Designed to be best-in-class aircraft, the Phenom jets’ key design drivers are premium comfort, outstanding performance and low operating cost. The Phenom 300 is one of the fastest light jets with the best climb and field performance, among the eight aircraft in its class.

With the brand-new Prodigy Touch Flight Deck option, the Phenom 300 performs at the top of its category, while costing less to operate and maintain than other light jets.

The features it carries from a class above include single-point refueling, externally serviced lavatory, low cabin altitude, and the largest baggage compartment in its own class.

Both the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300 have each received Robb Report’s Best of the Best Award for the last three years in a row.

Embraer Executive Jets was also recognized for its portfolio of aircraft, becoming the only aviation company listed in the Robb Report Luxury’s 25 Most Innovative Brands.
