Leaders of Innovation - by design
In 2005, Embraer Executive Jets launched the clean-sheet aircraft Phenom 100 and Phenom 300, with premium comfort, outstanding performance and low operating costs as design drivers.
A partnership with BMW Group’s DesignworksUSA led to the design of a cabin that delivers:
- Ample space with an oval cross-section
- Abundant natural light from large windows, including a window in the private aft lavatory
- Plentiful cabin amenities, including a refreshment center and in-flight entertainment
The comfort of the Oval Lite® cabin in the Phenom 100E
and Phenom 300
is complemented by the generous baggage compartment, in fact, the largest baggage compartments in their respective classes
, and an elegant air stair.
The Phenom 100E is the most spacious entry-level jet
. Its cabin options include:
- Eleven new interior collections
- Standard veneer
- Refreshment center
- Lavatory stowage
- Premium seats
- Inflight entertainment
The Phenom 300 features:
- Distinct temperature zones for pilots and passengers
- A wardrobe and refreshment center
- Voice and data communications options
- An entertainment system
The comfort of the seats, with recline and full movement capability, is enhanced by the best pressurization among light jets
(6,600 ft. maximum cabin altitude).
The pilot-friendly cockpit of the Phenom jets enables single-pilot operation and offers the advanced Prodigy Flight Deck. The Phenom 300 light jet also offers Prodigy Tough Flight Deck option, with touch-screen avionics and larger displays as well as SmartProbes.
With a high speed cruise of 389 knots, the entry-level Phenom 100E is the fastest jet in its class, with operating costs comparable to that of leading turbo-prop aircraft. The Phenom 100E also features multi-function spoilers, and the aircraft is capable of flying at 41,000 feet (12,500 m), powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW617F-E engines with 1,695 pounds of thrust each.
The Phenom 300 is one of the fastest jets in its category
with the best take-off and runway performance. In 2013, the Phenom 300 became the most delivered business aircraft in the world
and in the following year achieved over 50% market share of the light jet segment. In 2014, just over five years after entering service, there were more than 500 Phenom jets operating in 37 countries. The Phenom 300 performs among the top light jets, with a high speed cruise of 453 knots. With the best climb and field performance in its class, the Phenom 300 costs less to operate and maintain than its peers.
The Phenom 100 can run for 12 months between inspections and deliver 35,000 flights over its lifecycle. With engines that have 50% less moving parts than those of previous generations, the aircraft also complies with the world’s most noise-restrictive airports, producing 35% less CO2 than older aircraft and up to 12% than its competitors. The Phenom 100 received the suffix E in 2013, and deliveries of the enhanced, more efficient Phenom 100E began in early 2014, with serial number 300 of the entry-level jet.
Both the Phenom 100 and the Phenom 300 have been recognised for their innovative designs, having received the Best of the Best Award for four consecutive years from the international luxury magazine, the Robb Report. As a reflection of its brand’s strength, Embraer Executive Jets was the only aviation company mentioned in the Robb Report “Luxury’s 25 Most Innovative Brands.”
The aircraft is also supported by one of the highest ranking Customer Support Teams (#1 in 2014 AIN Product Support Survey).
