Melbourne, Florida, July 31, 2017 – Embraer Executive Jets delivered earlier this month the first Legacy 650 large business jet to JetSuite, one of the leading private aviation companies in the U.S., based in Irvine, California. The Legacy 650 is the first aircraft to join the newly launched JetSuite Aircraft Management Program.
“The Legacy 650 is the ideal aircraft for JetSuite’s new aircraft management program,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO, Embraer Executive Jets. “With a surplus of capability for revenue service, the Legacy 650 delivers real business value through premium comfort and high utilization with reliability, at a low operating cost.”
“Our great experience with Embraer's incredibly reliable aircraft, including the Phenom 100 in JetSuite and the ERJ-135 in JetSuiteX made the Legacy 650 the clear choice to launch our brand new Aircraft Management Program when customers sought a large cabin aircraft,” said Alex Wilcox, CEO of JetSuite. “The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 offer owners the ability to ease the cost of individual aircraft ownership through our multi-tiered management program, which in turn will provide more choice and more aircraft for JetSuite SuiteKey members."
JetSuite was the first fleet operator of the Phenom 100, in early 2009, and in April 2016, launched JetSuiteX with a fleet of 30-seat Embraer ERJ-135s, the Legacy 650’s aircraft platform, with over 27 million hours flown and a 99.5% dispatch reliability rate.
JetSuite provides flying that moves your soul through transparent pricing, efficient operations, acute attention to detail, acclaimed customer service, and industry-leading safety practices. Offering a WiFi-equipped fleet of jets across the U.S., JetSuite was recently ranked #1 in light jet utilization by ARGUS. Under the leadership of CEO Alex Wilcox, a JetBlue founding executive, JetSuite is IS-BAO certified and rated Platinum by ARGUS, the highest possible safety rating in the private jet industry. In April 2016 JetSuite introduced JetSuiteX to offer short haul public charter flights, sold by the seat, operating from private terminals. For information please visit www.jetsuite.com.
