Embraer today announced it will display the Legacy Executive corporate jet at the 57th Annual Meeting and Convention of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), to be held in Las Vegas October 12-14.

Embraer Corporate Jets will announce a number of improvements in the Legacy program at NBAA 2004, including performance enhancements and new interior amenities, aligned with its commitment to offer the best value proposition.

The Legacy is a super mid-size business jet based on the successful ERJ 135/145 regional jet platform with more than 800 aircraft in operation, close to six million hours flown and a dispatch reliability of over 99 percent. Certified in 2002, Legacy jets are currently operated in 11 countries.

The Legacy Executive carries up to 16 passengers in a 1,410 cu ft (39.9 m3) first-class cabin and is priced at $21.15 million USD (January 2004 economic conditions). It cruises at a speed of up to Mach .80 and offers a range of 3,250 nm (6,019 km) with 8 passengers and NBAA IFR reserves.

With the most spacious cabin in its class and priced at about a third less than comparable aircraft, the Legacy offers an unprecedented balance between capability, luxury and value.

The NBAA convention is regarded as business aviation’s most influential and largest gathering of manufacturers, operators and the Corporate aviation community at large. According to show organizers, the event’s previous edition attracted more than 28,000 attendees and a record 1,068 exhibiting companies.
