Embraer Executive Jets selects Universal Aviation as FBO services provider in Sorocaba

Sorocaba, Brazil, March 27, 2014 – Embraer Executive Jets announced today the selection of Universal Aviation, the ground support division of Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc., to operate the Fixed Base Operation (FBO) of the Company’s new Service Center at Bertram Luiz Leupolz Airport (SOD) in Sorocaba, 50 miles west of São Paulo’s state capital. Universal Aviation will serve the Company’s current customers, as well as other business aviation operators flying into Sorocaba, with aircraft ground support and hangar services.

Embraer’s new facility in Sorocaba is a modern FBO structure, with exclusive customer conveniences, such as meeting rooms and lounges, for passengers and crew alike. The full service team will provide FBO services, hangaring and will also carry out inspections and repairs on Embraer Executive Jets’ aircraft, including interior refurbishment. All Universal Aviation ground support employees are trained under the company’s strict standards for service and safety.
