Embraer Executive Jets to participate in Avalon 2013
Singapore, February 22, 2013 – With the ultra-large Lineage 1000 making its debut at the show, Embraer Executive Jets will participate in the 2013 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace and Defense Exposition, to be held in Geelong, Victoria, Australia from 26 February to 3 March 2013.
Embraer will be located at exhibitor business unit S6 and have two more of its innovative executive aircraft on static display, including the award-winning, entry-level Phenom 100 and super-midsize Legacy 600.
Embraer Executive Jets is the only business jet manufacturer to produce a full range of aircraft solutions from the entry-level Phenom 100 to the ultra-large Lineage 1000. Its aircraft have received more than a dozen international design and innovation awards from top luxury and aviation publications for setting a new standard for business aircraft.
To support the smooth operations of customer aircraft in Australia, the company has created a stock of parts and appointed a dedicated Field Support Representative in-country, to work with authorized service provider, Execujet Australia Pty Ltd, to ensure operators of Embraer Executive Jets aircraft have the best product support services throughout Australia.
Australia is responsible for 90% of the business jet fleet in Australia and New Zealand (Oceania), accounting for over 200 jets based in the country. In the Asia Pacific/Oceania markets, the Australian business aircraft fleet numbers are second only to China although Australia remains the most mature business aviation market in the Asia-Pacific region. Its fleet is dominated by light jets although the country has absorbed a higher-than-usual number of larger jets in recent years.
During the 10-year forecast, Asia Pacific is expected to be home to approximately 10% of the worldwide business aviation market (all makes/all models), representing between US$15 billion and US$20 billion in revenues and between 600 and 900 new deliveries. From these numbers, Oceania is expected to represent between US$5.5 billion in revenues or 225 new aircraft with Australia representing the vast majority of the market.
