São José dos Campos, October 20, 2010 – Embraer has appointed Aerocardal Ltda. ( as the authorized sales representative (ASR) for the full line of executive jets in Chile. The announcement was made at the 63rd National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Annual Meeting and Convention, held October 19-21, in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.

Aerocardal, with its long history and wide-ranging contacts in the executive aviation market in Chile, brings a level of expertise and a service-centered philosophy that are perfectly in line with our strategy,” said Breno Correa, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Latin America – Executive Jets. “We are pleased with the rapidly growing fleet of our state-of-the-art executive jets in Latin America and certain that this agreement with Aerocardal will allow us to expand our presence in Chile.”

The Michael Kaufmann family, which owns Aerocardal, has been a respected automotive dealer for nearly 60 years in Chile, creating a solid foundation for this new sales opportunity involving Embraer executive aircraft.
