São José dos Campos, May 16, 2011 – Embraer continues growing its executive jets support structure in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Two new regional customer support and services managers have been named: Mathieu Faenne, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Pedro Paiva, in London, U.K., to strengthen Embraer’s ties with customers in an area with a growing number of Embraer aircraft. These appointments also give strategic and operational management personnel local influence, reflecting operator needs, as well as regional infrastructure and authority.

We are very pleased to continue providing Embraer executive jets customers in the EMEA region with strong support and service solutions for their maintenance and operational needs,” said Antonio Martini Neto, Vice President, Customer Support and Services, Europe, the Middle East and Africa – Embraer Executive Jets. “This demonstrates our commitment to continue growing and improving our business relations, as solid partners with our customers. Wherever they are, and wherever they need us, we will be there.”

As the Company expands its authorized service center (ASC) network in the EMEA region, several new appointments have been made. Nayak Aircraft Services, which is already an ASC for the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets, in Cologne, Germany, now is also authorized to provide line maintenance support for the Lineage 1000 jet, at the Frankfurt facility, in Germany, and the Legacy 600 and Legacy 650 jets, at its maintenance center in Milan, Italy.

JCB Aero, from the southwest of France, and Inflite, based at London Stansted Airport, have been named Embraer authorized interior repair centers to cover warranties for customers in the EMEA region. And ExecuJet, of Dubai, which is already an authorized service center for the Legacy family, has added the Phenom 300.

Embraer’s wholly owned service center at Le Bourget Airport, in Paris, France, will also open a branch at London Oxford Airport, in June 2011. It will provide routine inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, LRU (Line-Replaceable Unit) replacement, and remote AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support.
